He was a retired cabinet maker and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Steven Frank Howe of Dallas; two sisters, Lillian Royston of Seymour and Marie Ware of Dallas; and two brothers, Earl Howe of Lorenzo and Lonnie Howe of Graham.
