Mattie Edith Hill
NAMPA—Mattie Edith Hill, 96, Route 6, Nampa, died at her home early Saturday after an extended illness.
She was born Dec. 13, 1869 in Missouri and lived there until 1881 when she moved to Athena, Ore., with her family. She was married to Harvey C. Hill at Pendleton, Ore., in Feb. 1927, and they moved to Nampa in March 1927. They have lived here since that time. She was a member of the Nampa First Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband; two stepsons, Burnal and Enos Hill, both of Nampa; a sister, Mrs. Nell Sayles, Spokane, Wash.; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews in Oregon.
Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Alsip Chapel. The Rev. E. J. Glover of the Boise Valley Church of the Brethren will officiate. Interment will be at Kohlerlawn.
