Robert "Bob" Sutton, 72, Deedsville, passed away at 4:18 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at Dukes
Memorial Hospital, Peru.
He was born August 13, 1932 in Fulton County to Henry and Edith (Zeider) Sutton. He married Alice
"Bettie" Sutton in Peru and she preceded him in death on July 13, 2004.
Sutton was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He enjoyed visiting and talking to people and spending time with and seeing his family, greeting them
with his traditional "OHHONAU!" He also loved his job delivering the Wabash Plain Dealer, which he
did with his wife for several years. He loved listening to music, watching Spongebob Square Pants and
watching the South Bend news.
Sutton is survived by five children, Dennis Sutton, Deedsville, Robert Sutton Jr., North Manchester,
Linda Marlow, New Castle, Jody See, Delong, and Kathy Enyeart, Deedsville; one sister, Betty Devins,
Danville, Illinois; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and the family cat, Miss Kitty.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; two brothers; and three sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday at the Deedsville United Methodist Church with
Pastor Ron Vititoe officiating.
Burial will follow in the Deedsville I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at McClain Funeral Home, Denver.
