She was born August 24, 1932 to Otto H. Stein in Boston, Mass., where she lived before moving to Leavenworth.
Rose married David L. Dykes, Sr. on August 12, 1951 in Leavenworth, by and at the home of his Aunt Cleda Burgess.
David passed away on January 18, 2000. They spent many loving years together at their home in the Lake of the Ozarks, where they made great friends and had many fun times.
Rose is survived by one daughter - Roxanne L. Parks – Lansing And 4 grandchildren – Christopher L. Dykes; Glenna Rose Parks; Michael Lee Parks; Dylan Thomas Parks.
She was preceded in death by her husband David L. Dykes, Sr. and her son David L. Dykes, Jr.
