She was born in Medina, NY on August 26, 1920, the daughter of the late Charles A. and Ruth [ Hall ] Wyman. She was a life long resident of Niagara County and had traveled extensively, especially during WWII with her family, including flying cross country on their honeymoon in a private plane with her pilot husband, Thomas. She enjoyed spending time with her family at home in Sanborn and at their summer cottage in Parry Sound, Canada. She was an avid gardener and homemaker.
She was a long time active member of the Sanborn Baptist Church, the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) for more than 30 years and was a Regent from 1971 -1973. She was a member of the Gold Star Mothers. She was a graduate of LaSalle High School and Kelly Business School.
Onalee was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Thomas G. Carlisle, on August 8, 1997. Surviving are her daughters Linda Moscati of Mooresville, NC, Judith Yohe of Florida, and Donna Rosalia of France; grandchildren: Kenneth Penvose, Kelly Colucci, Elizabeth Erwin, Carine Rosalia-Marion, Thomas Rosalia. Step-grandchildren: Mary M. Ferreri, Christina Skleryk, William Huckins, Angela Moscati-Rizzo, Michael Moscati and Anthony Moscati. 14 great grandchildren and many other close family members.
She was the mother of the late Thomas G. Carlisle, II, who died in Viet Nam and sister of the late Frances W. Church.
