Flora Clark Small, 88, of Drexel, NC went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, February 25, 2011 at Autumn Care of Drexel following a period of declining health.

Born in Burke County, NC on July 27, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Will Clark and Happy McGinnis Clark.

Flora was a member of Morganton First Church of God and retired from Drexel Heritage.

She is survived by her husband, William "Jud" Small of the home; a son, Eddie Bailey of Morganton; grandchildren, Liz Bailey Ramsey and Keith "Buck" Bailey; great-grandchildren, Charles Dillon Ramsey and Brenna Elise Ramsey.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 28, 2011 at Burke Memorial Park with Pastor Don Smith officiating. The family will receive friends in the cemetery following the service.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Burke Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc., 1721 Enon Road, Valdese, NC 28690.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
