Jewel Connolly, 82, passed away Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Monday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Jewel was born Aug. 3, 1928, in Lubbock to Edna and Arthur Boyd. She worked at a day care caring for children. She was a member of the Birdville Church of Christ. Jewel was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Connolly; her parents; and seven brothers and sisters.
Survivors: Son, Larry Connolly; sister, Ruth Goodman; brother-in-law, Bill Connolly and wife, Mary; sister-in-law, Betty Lee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
