Nellie's real father was James H. Ward born in Ohio. I've not been able to find his grave or date of death (between 1900 and 1910). I'm assuming he died in Missouri and then his wife moved to Idaho to be with her kids. Nellie's father was not James Parson Ward (1837 - 1908) born in WV.
