NANCY K. MAY DIES AT HOME OF DAUGHTER
South Union Woman Had Been Ill for Some Time.

Mrs. Nancy Kathryn May, aged 83, died at 11 p.m. Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jesse Edson, near South Union. She had been ill for some time, suffering from heart disease and dropsy.

Mrs. May was the widow of Eli May. She was born in this country, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Ballenger, who were natives of Germany. She was a sister of John Ballenger, deceased, who for many years was a funeral director, first living at Stanford and later at Elwren. Mrs. May was a member of the South Union Christian church.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Edson, Mrs. John Cox, of Stanford and Mrs. Mollie Gardner, of this city, and two step-sons, Paris May of this city, and Edward May, of South Union.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the South Union church and burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. The services will be in charge of the Rev. R. O. Pearson. Pallbearers will be Alton and Roy Gardner, Harry and Charles May, B. Wray and Cassell Conder. Flower bearers are Mary and Irene Edson, Sadie Gardner and Edna Conder, granddaughters of Mrs. May.
