BETTY HARDESTY, 79, of Fort Wayne, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2008.
She is survived by her sons, Gilbert "Gil", Walter Jr., Kenneth, Keith, Wayne, Timothy and Ricky Hardesty; daughters, Kathy West and Penny Hardesty; 34 grandchildren; and 25 great-grand children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter and daughter, Tina Shirely.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Thursday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road. Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials to American Diabetes Association.
