Burial is in National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal, with military rites conducted by Moline American Legion Post 246, where he was a member. Visitation is 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Hodgson Funeral Home Ltd., Rock Island.
He was born March 29, 1918, in Decatur, Ill., the son of John H. and Della Miller Goodrich. He married Violet Rose Schuman July 14, 1951, in Elgin.
He retired in 1978 from the former International Harvester Co. Farmall Works, Rock Island, where he had been a truck driver, after 35.2 years. He was an Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife; sister, Jean Wildermuth, Coal Valley; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded by a sister, Bessie Goers.
