Graveside services for A.J. Barnett, 89, were held Tuesday afternoon in Mount Marion Cemetery in Strawn with Scotte Clark, minister at Hamilton Street Church of Christ, officiating. He died March 31, in a local nursing home.

Barnett was born April 25, 1901, in Campbell. A retired auto dealer, he had owned and operated A.J. Barnett Motors in Olney for 40 years. He was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include one son, Curtis Barnett of Sweetwater; two daughters, Mildred Louise Blundell of Granbury and Bettie Mae Wagner of Carson, Calif.; one brother, Fred Barnett of Wichita Falls; four sisters, Bessie La- Roe of Kaufman, Bonnie Speight of Dallas, Ruby Neal of Wichita Falls and Evelyn Cemelka of Sun City, Ariz.; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
