Miss Ada Terrio Succumbs To Injuries...
After two restful nights and supposed recovering, Miss Ada Terrio, 20-year-old girl of 142 S. Claiborn street, who sustained a fracture of the base of the skull in an automobile accident on the West End shellroad Tuesday night, died in Charity Hospital shortly before 11 o'clock Friday morning. Her brother, Octave Terrio, and a sister, were at the bedside when the end came.
Miss Terrio was the victim of a peculiar accident. She and her brother were on their way to West End when their automobile became stalled in the road. Mr. Terrio was investigating the cause of the trouble, while his sister stood at the side of the machine. Another automobile containing a party of four came along in the opposite direction and crashed into the Terrio machine. Miss Terrio was knocked down striking her head. The chauffeur of the other machine says that the steering gear became disarranged.
