Senia Elizabeth Horton married William D. Rodgers on the 4th of March 1869 in Lee County, Mississippi

She died in the 1930's and is buried in the W. D. Rodgers plot in Salem Cemetery.

Pattie Sue Rodgers (daughter of Willis Rodgers) was a great grandniece of Senia's husband. Pattie Sue (b. 1919) remembered that as young children she and her sister Annie Lee (b. 1921) would go to Senia's kitchen door and Senia would give them teacakes or cookies she had baked.
