BELLEVILLE--The funeral for Mrs. Verna Alma Perkins, 77, Belleville, will be at 2 pm Tuesday at Belleville's First United Methodist, the Rev. Larry Dutton officiating. Burial will be in the Belleville Cemetery.
Mrs. Perkins died Saturday at the Belle View Manor nursing home, Belleville.
She was born July 28, 1899, in Republic County, where she lived most of her life.
Mrs. Perkins was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Surviving are the widower, John, of the home; a son, Earl, Henderson, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. Lois Scott, St. James, Mo.; a brother, Luman Boggs, Selden; 2 sisters, Mrs. Vera Tucker, Paris, Calif., and Mrs. Alice Hicks, Beaverton, Ore.; 6 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
