--She married Solomon Augustus Stroup; they were blessed with 6 children: Carl Morris, Lottie Pearl, Ray McKinley. Ercie Ann, Perry Vance, & Mabel Elizabeth. Several of the children altered the spelling of the name from Stroup to Stroupe.
