Lucille Mary Allen, 70, of Quitman, passed away February 23, 2011. She was born September 21, 1940, in Whittemore, Michigan, to the late Clarence Elsworth and Myrtle May (Nichols) Nickell.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by three brothers, Bobby, Clarence and William Nickell.

Mrs. Allen is survived by her husband, Melvin C. Allen; two sons; one daughter; six brothers; six sisters; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and six step great grandchildren.
