Alma "Chic" L. Reeder, 74 of Belpre, Ohio died October 21, 2002 at the St. Joseph Hospital. She was born in Weston, WV on July 20, 1928 and was the daughter of the late George C. and Beulah Collins Shawver. She had been a hairdresser in the Parkersburg Area for many years having own Chic's Salon.

Survivors include her husband, Carroll Reeder, Three sons, Michael Marks and his wife Kay of Belpre, Rick Marks of Lubeck, and Kevin L. Reeder of Vincent. Three daughters, Cindy Wilcoxen and her husband, Charles of Belpre, Dianna Starkey of Mineral Wells, and Kelly Oest of Bath, New York. Grandchildren, Christina Brams, Sarah Beth Wilcoxen, Matthew, Michael, and Nathaniel Marks, Angie and Eric Reeder, Stephanie, Katelyn, and Rachel Oest. Two great grandchildren, Abigail Brams and Alexis Reeder and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and one daughter, Tina Marks.

Services will be at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg at 10:00 AM Wednesday with Reverend David Phaneuf officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8.

In lieu of other remembrances, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
