Mrs. Frank L. Blahut Dies
Mrs. Frank L. Blahut, 46, who lived 8 miles east of Emporia, died at 7 o'clock Tuesday morning at the Newman Memorial county Hospital. She was born in Emporia, April 21, 1886, and her maiden name was Emma Catherine Proehl. She was married to Frank Lambert Blahut here in October, 1904.
She was a member of the Lutheran church. Mrs. Blahut is survived by her husband, Frank L. Blahut, a son, Harry Blahut, and a daughter, Aileen Blahut, of the home, and another daughter, Mrs. Marie Ulrick, New York City. Other survivers are her mother,who lives east of Emporia; four sisters, Mrs. Minnie Lamb and Mrs. Hermania Knight, Emporia; Mrs. Louise Lamb, Elsmore, and Miss Marie Proehl, of the home, and six brothers, William Proehl, Dunlap, Henry Proehl, Americus, Ernest Proehl, Dunlap, John Proehl, who lives in Iowa, and Bernard and Jake Proehl, who live east of Emporia. Funeral arrangements have not been made.

Funeral services for Mrs. Frank L. Blahut, who lived 8 miles east of Emporia, probably will be held Sunday. Definite arrangements have not been made, pending the arrival of a daughter, Mrs. Marie Ulrich, who is driving from New York City. Mrs. Blahut died Tuesday evening at Newman Memorial County Hospital. The casket will be opened at the Eccleston chapel between 2 and 5 o'clock, Saturday afternoon and from 7 until 9 o'clock Saturday night.
