Dorothy Elaine Haines, 88, of Dewey.
The daughter of the late James and Kitty Cummings, Dorothy was born on March 21, 1922 in Wann, OK. She attended school in the Bartlesville and Dewey communities. She graduated from Dewey High School in 1939.

Dorothy was united to Ralph Emerson Haines on September 11, 1941 in Borger, TX. They returned to the Bartlesville community in 1944. He preceded her in death on May 22, 2004. Dorothy was employed by Cities Service Oil Company from February 26, 1951 until she retired on September 1, 1982. At the time of her retirement, she was serving as Coordinator of the Employee Benefit Plans for Occidental Petroleum Company. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Copan. Dorothy loved the Lord, her family and the church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers; Bill Cummings, Frank Cummings, Lawrence Cummings and four sisters; Rose Butler, Lillie Casselman, Clara Durm and Elva Whittenburg.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Fickel and husband Gary of Dewey. One granddaughter, Jan Wilson and husband Devin of Stillwater. One great granddaughter, Rachel Wilson of Stillwater and numerous nieces and nephews.
