VIENNA (Special) -- Mrs. Bertha M. Frey, 78, a life-long resident near here, died Thursday at a Jefferson City hospital. She was born on March 13, 1888 in Maries County, The daughter of Perry and Louisa Tackett.

On April 14, 1906, she was married to Peter Frey. He died in 1961. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Floyd Adkins, Mrs. Clyde Honse and Mrs. Columbus Crum, all of Vienna; Mrs. Leonard Bullock of Vichy and Mrs. John Anderson of Chamois.

Also surviving are two brothers, Frank Tackett and Clay Tackett, both of Vienna; and 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Services will be today at 2 p.m. in the Vienna Methodist Church. The Rev. Robert L. Mann of Alton, Mo., and the Rev. Frank Laudenslager of Vienna will officiate. Burial will be in the Vienna cemetery.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Jan. 7, 1967 at 2 p.m. from the Vienna Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert. L. Mann of Alton, Mo., and Rev. Frank Laudenslager of Vienna officiating.
