Elsie May Lees, 76 of Weirton, WV passed away Monday, January 24, 2011 at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.
Born on July 18, 1934 in Follansbee, WV she was a daughter of the late Bronis and Thelma Ferguson Krystynak. She is also preceded in death by one brother, Donald Krystynak.
Elsie worked for the former Standard Carbon in Wintersville, OH. She was Protestant by faith and a member of the Weirton Loyal Order of Moose #688.
Surviving is her husband of 53 years, Joseph Aaron Lees whom she married on May 17, 1957. Four children, William Lees and Daniel Lees both of St. Petersburg, FL; Teresa Lees and Catherine Lees both of Follansbee, WV Two brothers, Sonny Krystynak of Cleveland, OH and Gene Krystynak of Louisville, KY One sister, Verna (Harvey) Carson of Homosassa, FL Two grandchildren, Rachael (Mark) Weide and Danielle (Greg) Lamoree Two great grandchildren, Kaden James Lamoree and Conner Alan Younciak Lees A special friend Mary Ruth Morris and her Anderson Home family.
Friends will be received on Friday, January 28th from 1-3 & 6-8 P.M. at the Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV where services will be held on Saturday, January 29th at 11:30 A.M. with Jonathan Absher, Minister officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Follansbee, WV. Memorial contributions may be made to the Anderson Home at PO Box 343 Follansbee, WV 26037.
