Mrs. Mae F. Lamb, 89, widow of Elbert D. Lamb, 1301 Wheeling Ave., died Saturday at Ball Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.
Mrs. Lamb was born in Breckenridge County, Ky., and later lived in southern Indiana before coming to Muncie in 1900.
She is survived by a son, Charles H. Lamb, Muncie; three daughters, Mrs. Allene Shepard, Miss Virginia Lamb, and Mrs. Stanley (Leona) Schull, all of Muncie; a sister, Mrs. Marley Hedgeland, also of Muncie; three grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Services will be at Monday at Meeks Mortuary with Dr. A. Hunter Colpitts, pastor of High Street United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
