Funeral services for Clarence Delbert Lane of Loving, 22, will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in West Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Wilbur H. Klattenhoff, pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Carlsbad Cemetery.

Lane, who was born Feb. 24, 1931, in Loving, died as a result of injuries he suffered in an auto accident Friday 32 miles south of Carlsbad on U.S. Highway 62-180. He was an employee of United States Potash Company.

Active pallbearers will be Cecil Lunsford, Joe Hogan, Ernest Siebenthal, Joe Moore, Lucian Fletcher and Cecil Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be P.J. Allison, Alvin Burton, Vernon Dickenson, Weldon Pierce, Clyde Fugate and Taril Harkness.

Lane is survived by his parents, Mrs. Charley Hollebeke of Malaga and D.A. Lane of Carlsbad; a sister, Eirma Lane of Malaga; his grandmother, Mrs. Walter Stone of Loving; and an aunt, Mrs. Lillie Weaver of Loving.
