Mary Josephine Ankrim, 75, of South Point, died this morning in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital. Born June 15, 1904, she was the daughter of Charles William and Elizabeth Ricketts Ankrim. Miss Ankrim was a retired schoolteacher in the Ironton City School District for 19 years; a South Point District schoolteacher for 11 years; a past worthy matron of the South Point Eastern Star No. 404; and a member of the Old Delta A.M.E. Church; was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. C. O. (Dorothy) Lambert of Ashland, Mrs Louise Kelly of Okeechobee, Fla., and Mrs Lawrence (Charla) Baker of Rt. 1, Ironton; several nieces and nephews. The body is at the O'Keefe Baker Funeral Home where arrangements are pending.
