∼Nadine Medders Black, 92, of Petrolia, Texas passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2014.
Funeral services will be at 10:00AM, Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at the Petrolia First Baptist Church in Petrolia with Rev. Aaron Lindsey, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Petrolia Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home in Henrietta.
Mrs. Black was born on May 7, 1922 in Grove Springs, Missouri, to Samuel and Barbara (Rader) Dinwiddie. She married Elmore Rodney Medders on May 9, 1942 and he passed in April of 1966. She married Raymond Black on July 15, 1982 and he passed on June 27, 2005. Mrs. Black was a member of the First Baptist Church in Petrolia, Texas and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Black was preceded in death by her parents; husband Elmore Rodney Medders and husband Raymond Black; three brothers, two sisters; daughter, Doris June Medders.
Survivors include her sons Ronald Joe Medders of Wichita Falls, Texas, Elmore Rodney Medders, Jr. of Wichita Falls, Texas and Jimmie Medders and wife Elizabeth of Petrolia,Texas; daughters, Brenda Dunn and husband J.C. of Byers, Texas and Rita Baxter and husband Glenn of Wichita Falls, Texas; fifteen grandchildren; twenty five great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Debbie of Mount Vernon, Texas.
