She taught exercise and physical therapy at a community college in Pennsylvania. She also led several senior exercise classes at Fountainview of Monroe, Norman Towers and the Monroe Senior Citizens Center at Mable Kehres Apartments. She was a member of Monroe Senior Citizens Center. She had been a cancer survivor since 1969. She is survived by her son Daniel (Lynn) Gluvna of LaSalle; a granddaughter, Brienne C. Gluvna of Raleigh, North Carolina; a brother, Andrew Vanyo of Tucson, Arizona and a sister, Bernadette (Jim) Fox of Greensburg, Pennsylvania. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by two brothers, James and Regis Vanyo and a sister Ann B. Kliich. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Way.
