Ann was the beloved wife of the late John A. Neylan Sr. for 35 years.
Born in Trenton, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Suzanna (Tuleya) Tobias.
During World War II, Ann worked as a seamstress for five years at Fleetwings in Tulleytown, Pa., sewing fabric used in the construction of U.S. Navy F4U 'Corsair' aircraft.
Ann had a passion for singing and music. She was a coloratura soprano with the Bel Canto Choir in Trenton during the 1940s.
She was a founding parishioner of the Church of The Holy Name and former choir member. For many years she was also a member of other choirs including St. Cecelia's Church of Pennsauken, Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel of Moorestown and The Moorestown Singers. An avid Phillies fan, Ann once sang 'God Bless America' at a Phillies game with Our Lady's Choir, while arm in arm with the Phillie Phanatic.
Ann's life was devoted to raising her children in the Catholic faith. She had a gentle and humble spirit and everyone she touched considered her to be a sweet and wonderful person.
Ann is survived by her loving children, John 'Jack' Neylan Jr. (Nancy) of Flemington, N.J., Michael F. Neylan of Delran, Kathleen A. Neylan of Winslow Township, N.J., Robert J. Neylan of Martinez, Calif., and Richard 'Andy' Neylan of Cinnaminson. She was the loving grandmother of Jennifer, Ryan, Christopher, and Marissa and is also survived by her brothers, Albert Tobias (Arlene) of Hamilton Township, N.J. and Joseph Tobias Sr. (the late Rosemary) of Mercerville, N.J. She was preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Tobias (the late Mary); sisters, Mary Sujansky (the late Charles), Helen Tobias, Margaret Wollert (the late Donald Sr.), Ethel Moffitt (the late Marshall), Agnes Mason (the late James), and Dorothy Ochanas (the late William Sr.).
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend her visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23 and 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 24 at Resurrection Parish's Church of the Holy Name, 260 Conrow Rd., Delran. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Trenton.
