As a citizen, Andrew D. Caswell embodied fully those qualities which go to make up an exemplary life. In his family he was a kind and affectionate husband and father. In his business relations he was honest and upright. In his associations with the people where he lived, he was careful not to say or do aught that would reflect upon the reputation of any one. It can truly be said of him that he lived an honest and manly life and though not reaching the "three score years and ten," he had by his well spent life fully rounded out his work on earth. He has gone to join the unnumbered host on high. Few men have been better prepared for this invitation, "Come up higher." Peace be with him.
