Rodney Wilford Chase is the only child of Fenton Wilford Chase & Ida Belle (Morris) Chase. Rod married Thelma Eileen Wurm on 30 Aug 1942. Rod W. & Thelma had six children, four children are deceased.

Rod W. comes from a long line of Patriots, who have served their country from the beginning to the present day. Grandpa Fenton served during WWI US Army as a PFC (Private 1st Class), was wounded & awarded a Purple Heart. Fenton's son Rod W. served during WWII US Army as a Corporal. Rod W.'s son Rodney M. served during Vietnam, U.S. Navy & retired from the US Navy as a DTR-1 (Dental Technician Repairman 1st Class Petty Officer). Rod W's son David served during Vietnam, U.S. Navy as a AQ3 (Aviation Quartermaster 3rd Class Petty Officer). Rod M.'s Son Matt served in the Naval Reserves as an HM2 (Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Petty Officer). Rodney M.'s wife Kathy also served during Vietnam, U.S. Navy as a Hm3 (Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Petty Officer). Four generations of faithful service. We hope our next generations will be inspired by all of us, to also be true patriots for our beautiful country.

What Rod W & Fenton didn't know is this. A gentleman named Deacon Amos Chase (1718-1818) is our direct descendent & Patriot. That ties our direct line of Chase's to the American Revolutionary War. Since then we have found a large handful of very distant cousins, who also served in one capacity or another during the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Mexican War, Civil War etc. etc. Several family members have served or are still serving today. Whether you are in politics, serving in the military or just living everyday as a citizen. We hope you will never forget those, who have made it possible for you to enjoy, & live in a country just loaded with freedoms that a lot of other people don't have. They should & will need to be protected. Freedom is not free, loyalty, commitment & hard work helps us keep it.
