Sarah was the daughter of John and Hannah (Likins) Reynolds. She married William Winter in about 1877, and they had two sons (Franklin Auto, 1 January 1879-21 February 1960, and Lafayette, 11 January 1881-28 March 1897).

This grave is reported in Greene County, Missouri Cemeteries, Vol. VIII, p. 32. Many of the graves are listed as having only fieldstone markers or stones that were already badly weathered and unreadable when the 1989 inventory was conducted. The cemetery is located on private land in Section 2, Township 28N, Range 24W. From Republic, go north on FR 81 to SR TT, turn left (west) on TT and go 2.5 miles. The cemetery is .3 miles north of the road on private land owned by Mr. DeWayne Gray, from whom permission should be obtained before visiting. To get to the cemetery, you must pass through two gates and will likely encounter a herd of cattle. In 1983 descendants of those buried there and other neighbors in the community cleaned and fenced the cemetery and placed a sign over the gate reading "1844." A newspaper account at that time says about 30 graves were noted, although I have not found that inventory. The cemetery has again become overgrown, as shown in the photos, and there were no other readable stones found as of November 2011 besides those posted here.
