Services for Agnes R. Maddox, 80, of Kemp were held at 2 p.m. Sunday
at Eubank Memorial Chapel in Mabank with
Dr. Rocky Weatherford officiating.
Burial followed at King Cemetery in Henderson County under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home of Mabank.
Mrs. Maddox died Nov. 18, 1999, in Kemp.
She was born Oct. 3, 1919, in Henderson County to Thomas Austin and Martha Ann Powell Bateman. She was a lifetime resident of Henderson County and was a Baptist. She was a member of the Eastern Star of Gun Barrel City, where she formerly held the position of worthy matron.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Maddox; and daughter, Patsy Lowe.
Mrs. Maddox is survived by her daughter, Geraldine Haggard of Kemp; sister, Velma Vilott of Santa Fe Springs, Calif.; brother, Sidney Bateman of Gun Barrel City; grandchildren, Paul Lowe, Kim Fennel, Clint Haggard and Shannon Haggard; seven great-grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family.
