A master carpenter and cabinetmaker who was taught by his father Willard. Albert and Cyrus Russell Jr constructed many important buildings in Ironton and around the Pilot Knob mine during the years of 1850 to 1874 which included the Presbyterian Church.
Made furniture for the county government and supervised the restoration of the county courthouse after the Civil War.
