Funeral services for D T Shuler 75-year-old Elmore City resident were conducted at 200 p m Monday in the Shady Grove Church with Rev Erby Alexander of Marlow officiating. Burial was in the Foster Cemetery under the direction of the Vaughn Funeral Home Elmore City. Mr. Shuler had been in ill health the past three years and died in the Pauls Valley hospital late Saturday. He had been a Garvin County resident since 1900 and was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife Hattie, three sons, Thomas and Charlie of Foster and Frank of Artesia NM, two daughters, Mrs. Ona Redman of Tatum, Texas and Mrs. Nora Parrent of Elmore City; two sisters Mrs. Boner Brister of Stratford and Mrs. Ellie Dupher of California; 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
