A service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, September 14, 2009, at Dalton-Holmes Funeral Chapel for Della L. Ash, 95, Durant, who died Monday September 7, 2009, at Four Seasons Nursing Center in Durant. The Rev. Brad Jones will officiate.

The daughter of Jessie Clement and Mary Edna (Huff) Duncan, she was born Monday, September 22, 1913, in Avantt in the Seminole area.

Della attended nursing and cosmetology school. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Durant. Della enjoyed spending time with her family and her dogs.

She married William (Bill) F. Ash on August 20, 1960, in California.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband and son, Gary Roger Morrow.

Survivors include daughter Jean Lar Rieu, St George, Utah, son Larry Morrow, El Monte, CA; sisters Noma Tate, Durant, Wilda Bell, OKC, brother Norman Duncan, Ada; caregiver Melody Baker, Durant, six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Durant, with Mark Hendrickson, Andries Reenalda, Eric Morrow, Rocky Baker, Charlotte Morrow and Mike Tate serving as pallbearers.
