Funeral services for Luther Moses Moon, 80, who died Saturday following a brief illness, were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at McGuire Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Moon was a retired employee of Arkansas Louisiana Gas Co. with 34 years of service. He was a World War I Veteran, and a deacon of the First Baptist Church of Rodessa.
Survivors include his widow; two sons, James Moon of Moran, Texas and Weymon Moon of Ruston; five grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
