She was a native of Washington County having lived her whole life in the Double Springs Community. She was a daughter of the late William and Nettie Bruner Lady and a member of the Rock Springs United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, James Riley Hite; one daughter, Miss Juanita Gibson of the home; one son, Guy Clifford Hite; one grandson, Dr. James Hite, Clemson, SC; one sister, Mrs. Amanda Hale, Fall Branch; several nieces and nephews.
Fall Branch Funeral Home is in charge.
