Myrtle M. Aldridge
DOWNS (PNS) - There will be a graveside service for Myrtle M. Aldridge, 87, Richland, Wash., at 11 a. m. Thursday, Aug. 5, at Hopewell Cemetery, Downs. Mrs. Aldridge, who died July 19 in Kadlec Hospital, Richland, formerly resided in Downs.
She was born Aug. 11, 1894, a daughter of George and Lena Colaw. She married Warren H. Aldridge in April 1932. He survives.
Also surviving are three brothers: Roy Colaw, Atlanta; Loyd Colaw, Twenty Nine Palms, Calif.; and Owen Colaw, Bellair, Fla. Mrs. Aldridge was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
She was a graduate of Illinois State Normal University and taught in public schools in the Downs area for many years. She was a member of Central United Protestant Church, 1124 Stevens Dr., Richland, to which memorials may be made.
Mrs. Aldridge was cremated in Richland, and there was a memorial service for her at the Central United Protestant Church on Monday.
