Services for Elma B. (Elmarie) Cook, 81, of Lufkin, were held Friday, Nov. 23, 1990 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lynn Stephens officiating. Bruial was in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.
Mrs. Cook was born Jan. 8, 1909 in Leggett and died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 1990 in Lufkin.
Mrs. Cook received a B.A. degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. She was a member of the Keltys Baptist Church. She was employed by the Dapartment of Human Services from 1947 until her retirement in 1973. She had lived in Lufkin since 1952.
