Mr. Baker is survived by his wife, Vera Pinkerton Baker of Wickes; one son, Hubert E. Baker, Jr. of Cleburne, Texas; two daughters, Peggy McLaughlin of Gillham, and Jone Roe of Robeline, Louisiana; two sisters, Opal White of Granbury, Texas and Agnes Burris of Drain, Oregon; 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mr. Baker will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 12, 2006 in the Wickes Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Chris Burke officiating. Burial will follow in the Duckett Cemetery in Wickes, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, February 11, at the funeral home.
