HER LAST RESTING PLACE - Mr. [sic] Amanda Chandler, sister to Mrs. O. R. Johnson, wife of an ex-Sheriff of this county, at present residing in Oakland, was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery thi smorning, the funeral being a large and imposing one. Deceased made a desire previous to her death, which occurred in Oakland on the 13th inst., that she be laid beside her sister, Mrs. Bone, who rests in our cemetery. Her remains arrived in Red Bluff last night, accompanied by her daughter, Miss Lizzie Chandler, and her sister, Mrs. Johnson. The ladies will return to their homes in a day or two, at present being the guests of Mrs. E. S. Cushing.
