Andrea Marie Boes, 29, of Washington, died Tuesday at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis.

Born Feb. 27, 1980, in Daviess County, she was the daughter of Bill and Vickie (Showalter) Devine.

She was a 1998 graduate of Washington High School and attended Franklin College and was a cheerleader at both. She also graduated from University of Southern Indiana in 2002. She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church and Phi Beta Phi Sorority. She was a committee member and captain of Relay For Life.

She is survived by her husband, Jeffery Boes, whom she married May 22, 2004; a son, Ethan Boes, at home; parents, Vickie and Greg Guy Sr. and Bill and Brenda Devine, all of Washington; mother-in-law, Leann Mattingly of Washington; grandparents, Pete and Jean Showalter and John and Ellen Bacon, all of Washington; stepgrandparents, Sue and Tom Wingfield and George "Butch" Guy, all of Washington, Sherryl and Terry Harrison of Misson, Texas, and Jack and Joyce Clark of Mt. Vernon, Ill.; brother, Derrick Devine of Washington; sister and brother-in-law, Jeannie and Wayne Freeman of Washington; stepsisters, Erica and her husband Jason Robinson of Washington, Lindsay McIntire of Stronghurst, Ill., and Emily Guy of Burkley, Mich.; stepbrother, Gregory Guy Jr. of Washington; sisters-in-law, Brooke and her husband Clay Havill of Evansville, and Catrina Fisher of Princeton; brothers-in-law, Axl and Quin Boes, both of Patoka; grandfather-in-law, Harold Boes of Princeton; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Jeffery L. Boes; grandfather, Tom Devine; and grandmother-in-law, Beverly Boes.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Peters Catholic Church, with Rev. James Koressel officiating. Burial will be in St. Johns Cemetery.

Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the church.

Preferred memorials are to Relay For Life Team Andrea.
