MRS. IDA B. HERRON
Mrs. Ida B. Herron, 86, native Kansan, died May 26 at her home, 1216 Mulvane. She was born July 7, 1867, near Ozawkie. After graduating from the Kansas State Teachers College she was a teacher before her marriage to the late W. C. B. Herron of Meriden in 1889. She had lived in Topeka since 1896 and was a member of the Central Congregational Church and the Nautilus Club.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Warren Rutter, of the home; a son, Francis B. Herron, Spokane, Wash.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held May 28 at the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary with burial in Meriden Cemetery.
