Mrs. Oelerich was born in Charlesburg on August 5, 1869, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Achter. On June 4, 1888, she was united in marriage to Mr. Oelerich. She spent her entire life in Calumet County, with the exception of about six years when the family resided at Calvary. For the past 17 years she lived near here.
The survivors are four daughters; Mrs. Frank Wagner of Fond du Lac, Mrs. Arthur Hoffmann of Milwaukee, Miss Valeria Oelerich of Allentown, Pa., and Mrs. Lothar Funke of here; two sons, John of St. Anna, and Oscar of here; five brothers, John and Math Achter of Chilton; Charles Achter of Milwaukee, and Philip and Henry Achter of North Dakota; four sisters, Mrs. Peter Paul and Mrs. Margaret Rautenberg of Milwaukee, Mrs. Chas Richards of Buffalo, NY, and Mrs. John McDonald of Cleveland, Ohio; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Her husband and three daughters and two sons preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Christian Mothers Society at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church here
