Lawrence Kobriger, 69, of Rt. 1, New Holstein, died Sunday afternoon at Calumet Memorial Hospital following a lingering illness. He had been a patient there for four months.
Mr. Kobriger was born July 27, 1897, in the Charlesburg area, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Kobriger. He was educated at the Charlesburg school and was a farmer most of his life. He married Mae Ausloos May 24, 1927, at St. Anna. He was a member of Holy Rosary Church and the Holy Name Society.
Survivors include his widow, a son, Vernon, of Milwaukee; three daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Maycel) Morton, of Rockford, Ill., Mrs. Elroy (Esther) Spletter of New Holstein and Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Swanson of Little Chute; a brother, Alfred of Chicago, three sisters, Mrs. Peter Lauer, of Winona, Minn., Miss Viola Kobriger, of Sacramento, Calif., and Mrs. Emil Morrell, of New Holstein, seven grandchildren and a great grandchild.
