Mrs. R. C. Powers (Special to The Statesman)

Nampa -- Mrs. R. C. Powers died late Wednesday afternoon at the home of her brother, H. H. Hussey, 420 Seventh avenue north, following a week's illness. She had been in Nampa four months, coming here from Grants Pass, Ore., following the death of her husband, to make her home with her brother.

The body is at Talley's. No funeral arrangements had been made Wednesday night.

MRS. R. C. POWERS DIES WEDNESDAY

Mrs. R. C. Powers, 68, died Wednesday afternoon at the home of her brother, H. H. Hussey, after a week's illness.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Talley chapel. Interment will be in Kohlerlawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Powers had lived in Grants Pass, Ore. for the past 15 years and came to Nampa four months ago, after the death of her husband, to make her home with her brother. In addition to him, she is survived by a sister, Mrs. Ed Kincaid of Yuba City, CA.
