Passed away on February 11, 2011, in Centennial, Colorado. Stan was born May 3, 1925 in Kansas City, Missouri. After graduating from Paseo High School, he immediately joined the Navy where his wartime years were spent aboard a tanker in the Pacific. Following the military, Stan spent much of his professional career as a salesman for Proctor & Gamble and residential garage door installation and service businesses. Preceded in death by his parents David and Faye Williams of Kansas City, Missouri; both spouses, Shirley Williams and Martha Vincent Williams of Centennial, Colorado; and brother Jim (Helen) Williams of Newport Beach California. Survivors include daughters, Margaret (Geoff) Chappell of Highlands Ranch, Colorado and Sally Stricker of Denver; sisters Gloria (Frank) Spurlock of Kansas City, Missouri and Shirley (Robert) Esterl of Centennial, Colorado; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Stan will always be remembered for his quick smile, great sense of humor and love of sweets.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Horan and McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 County Line Road, Centennial, Colorado. The interment is at 1:00 P.M. at the Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Denver Dumb Friends League, 2080 South Quebec Street, Denver, Colorado 80231-3204.
