ANDERSON, IDA MAE BANNER
Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Mae Banner Anderson, 76, widow of the late Walter Anderson, who died last Thursday in Bradley, Ill, were held Monday from the Thomas Funeral Home. Interment was in Greenlawn cemetery. Born November 1, 1872 at Union, Ill. she spent her girlhood days in Marengo.

She later moved to Hammond and married Walter Anderson and continued to reside here until 1930; one year after his death. Since 1930, Mrs. Anderson had divided her time between Hammond and points in Illinois, spending the greater part of her time in Kankakee. She was at the home of a daughter in Bradley, Ill. when she passed away.

She is survived by five sons, George A. Huitt [Note: In the Card of Thanks, he is recorded as George A. Hewitt.] of Marengo, Ill, a son by a former marriage, Floyd L. Anderson of Chicago, and William T., Alta L, and Fred R. Anderson, all of Kankakee; three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Traylor and Mrs. Joseph Bunnell of Kankakee, and Mrs. Mary F. Beaver of Bradley, Ill.; 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
