The deceased would have been 79 years old on the 27th of this month He had come here as has been his habit for the past several years, for a visit with his son and the latter's family.
He had been here for about a month. He was ill only three days. His son stating that this illness was the first time he had been sick enough to put him in bed since he was nine years old. His home was in Canadian, Texas.
Funeral arrangements have not been made awaiting word from the Texas relatives.
