Mrs. Tuggle worked in her earlier years for Essex Industries P.B.S. in Edwardsville as a line supervisor, and also at Hillsboro Senior Citizens Center. She loved animals.
Survivors include two sons, James L. Oakley Jr. of Covington, TN, and Michael J. (wife Eileen) Oakley of Hillsboro; three stepsons, Gene (wife Susan) Tuggle of Irving, Edward (wife Cyndi) Tuggle of Trenton, and Greg Tuggle of Hillsboro; a daughter, Julie (husband Randy) Reck of Hillsboro; a stepdaughter, Brenda (husband Mike) Sammonds of Glenarm; a brother, James (wife Alice) Woolard of Nokomis; nine grandchildren, Amanda (husband Toris) Smith, Rachel (husband Jeffrey Jr.) Davis, Samantha (husband Trevor) Bates, Chelsea Oakley, Megan Moore, Brett Sammonds, Megan (husband Luke) Teutken, Danielle Tuggle, and Joshua Segrest; and six great-grandchildren.
